On 26 June, the Commission will present the outcome of the consultations of the EU4Health steering group that will help define annual work program for 2024.

EU4Health is the EU's flagship instrument to reinforce crisis preparedness and improve resilience in public health systems across Member States. With a budget of €5.3 billion for 2021-27, EU4Health offers unparalleled support to Member States to achieve the objective of improving and fostering health, building capacity to prevent and respond to cross-border health threats, strengthening health systems and improving access to high-quality and affordable healthcare.
EU4Health is implemented by annual Work Programmes, clustered under the four overarching objectives: Crisis preparedness, Health promotion & disease prevention, Health systems & healthcare workforce and Digital. EU4Health steering group was set up in 2021 with a task to help ensuring consistency and complementarity between the Member States' health policies, EU4Health programme and other policies and instruments and actions of the Union.
